code Gigas - The Devil's Bible

Code Gigas or The Devil's Bible "is the largest medieval manuscript (76 kg) received intact to this day. Today it is kept at the National Library in Stockholm that is famous for two features. Firstly, it is known to be the biggest surviving European manuscript book. Secondly, it contains a large, full-page picture, where is the devil.
Legend has it that the book is written in all one night at a Benedictine monastery, Czech from Monaco, who promised to come to terms with the devil, writing the book in exchange for his soul. The content of the Code
Gigas is officially a full version of the Bible (except the Book of Revelations). According to experts who have studied the code is actually written by one hand using an ink that was extracted from insects, but obviously it is very unlikely that a transcriber Benedictine, could have spent a single night for the transcription of book, which has finely decorated initials. Studies have estimated that it would take 25 to 30 years for its realization. But if Monaco had really made a pact Mephisto?
