crazy stuff: it would appear the decision to entrust a camera to a patient confined in a psychiatric hospital in the '70s. One idea that could only come to those who, at the time, came into contact with the theories and the person of Mark Levy MD and, consequently, with the need to positively change the lives of thousands of inmates across Italy. So it was that Luigi and Maria Grazia Giannichedda Bua, researchers at the Faculty of Political Science of Sassari, decided to give a young Frenchman who at the time he was admitted to the facility Rizzeddu (and of which we then lost all traces) , a camera. The idea was not random: the interior, in fact, said the photographer. Here, then, the best way to try to restore the identity: follow his inclination by giving it a tool that can capture from within moments of everyday life of the psychiatric hospital, thereby demonstrating outside. But, first of all, returning to the "person" the "gaze." From these premises, and the cooperation between the association to promote political and cultural Turritani 52 and the Foundation Franco and Franca Basaglia comes the photo exhibition "A Look found, "curated by the same Bua and Giannichedda with Daniel and Sergio Pulino Scavo. Will be outlined here, for the first time, seventeen shots of the anonymous French ex-patient (chosen from the negatives stored carefully for almost forty years, from Louis Bua), through which the public can participate in that reality otherwise hidden For decades, behind impenetrable walls. At the inauguration, Luigi and Maria Grazia Bua Giannichedda tell the genesis and rationale behind the progetto.L 'inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 18, in place of Turritani 52, Sassari Via Turritani 52. The exhibition will be open to the public every day until November 10, from 17:30 to 21. Sunday, October 24, 2010

A new home, new faces , new ideas
E system already, we just had to put together, we'll do it Thursday, October 7 at 18:30.
existed but had neither time nor home. We did not like the political climate, let alone we did not like the reactions, or pale or angry, who came from the shameful policy of our party of china Berlusconi's new right. Center-left parties, which among other things, too often confused with bipolar bipartisanship and that, in the name of weight, you try sometimes, when you need it, when you vote.
always wanted to participate, not one-off, hear and be heard.
We then started to give us a face, Face. We started talking and we saw that we had something to say, about us, about our city, Sassari.
We said that before indignant to be ashamed, lowering his eyes to the vulgarity of politics. Lower your eyes, and then react in practice. Without action "against" but with positive initiatives, proposals: the antagonism raises the bile who does and who receives it and is often useless.
We do these things together, discuss and possibly argue is better than doing politics in front of the computer virtual or think of it only in the voting booth. The time spent together is not leisure, and leisure.
We said we know many things and we want to make available to everyone, but we want to know more and better.
We said yes, we're young but we want to take responsibility, in addition to you want to say what we think about things that directly or indirectly, belong to us or affect us.
We said that "the left" is not a dirty word and that would be now, should be rewritten the vocabulary of politics.
We met, we talked so much, we got a house to live together.
A house, faces and ideas: Thursday, October 7 present all of this.
Where? As a Turritani 52, of course.
