With Circular No. 4 / E of 15 February 2011 the Internal Revenue Service explains that, in order to counter the phenomenon of tax evasion, the Italian municipalities are obliged to inform the Inland Revenue, the Guardia di Finanza and INPS any integration of data and information relating to their citizens in order to supplement the earnings of the adjustment tax return filed. In case of failure of submission of tax return Municipalities must provide data, facts and relevant in order to allow the rebuilding of inductive undeclared income by providing appropriate documentation.
